The fog hangs low over the trees. It's softening the edges of the world.
The tide is out leaving the docks sitting still as they await the water's return.
Everything is hushed, like nature has decided to take a long, slow breath.
I'm here in the middle of it, savoring every detail.
No rush, no noise.
My body feeling light from an overnight fast.
My mind clear, uncluttered.
There's no hunger... only energy.
No pressure... Only space.
This is the kind of more that reminds you…
Life is more than lists than deadlines.
It's the sound of distant water lapping on the shore.
It's the cool air filling your lungs.
It's being present enough to feel alive instead of racing past it.
You don't have to live by the bay to find this.
Maybe it's a park, a quiet street, your own backyard before the world wakes up.
The place matters less than the choice.
The choice to stop, breathe, and allow peace to wash over you.
Tomorrow morning before the day begins.
Give yourself that choice.
Step into stillness.
Let it fill you.
It will change the way you move through everything else.

Hey, and just a reminder, we are not doctors or psychologists . We're people who were broken physically, emotionally, spiritually, and found our way back, through simple natural habits. We share what worked for us and what's worked for thousands of others.

An added note from the night owl he chose to marry. It doesn't have to be morning.
Maybe its a moment on the deck in the quiet of the night before you go to bed. We may be less rural these days but an outdoor break is great before bed. The neighborhood is calm. Next to no traffic. Breeze rustles the trees. The Littles take their last pit stop before bed.
When we were still out at the farm 2am was one of my favorite times of the day. I would head down to the barn. Check on the critters. Make sure all the babies were good, water levels satisfactory, just a general status check. Then I would sit at the picnic table on the deck next to the barn and chill. My mare, Tess, would generally join me. We would talk and listen to the night sounds. You could hear the subtle sounds of owls stealthily flying by, the eerie alarm of coyotes in the distance (thank heavens), frogs at the creek and the gentle sounds of the alpacas, some in the barn, some in the pasture. It was calming, grounding, nurturing. A great way to head to bed.
