"Maybe I’m a peaceful and more relaxed dude now." I guess I would agree with that statement. The statement doesn't imply 24/7, it says "more" and that is true. There has been a change over the 30+ years we have been together and I do think it's for the better. We all go through transitions and, hopefully, improve. Ideally, we are making decisions that fit us for where we are in life. In the past many of us made decisions to fit in, to experience acceptance. At 75, I don't care to live my life through that level of acceptance. I no longer believe that someone will cancel me if I don't do exactly as they do. I think I have finally accepted me for who I am. I kind of like who I am. I like who David is. I like where we have evolved. I appreciate the joy of watching birds, waves, trees, whatever and realizing that is enough. I've always been that person since I was a child. Curious, but always hoping to fit in. I no longer feel it necessary to change who that person is. I never lack finding something that interests me. Sounds like a good life to me.
