Dr. Anna Tojer believes grains are a major health risk.
We think she might be on to something.
Years ago, Peggy and I ditched grains and the results were life-changing. You might want to test it for yourself.
For decades we’ve been told grains are “healthy.” They sit proudly at the base of the food pyramid. Your doctor probably tells you to eat more.
Yet… we’re getting sicker. That’s not coincidence. That’s cause and effect.
Grains spike blood sugar just like sugar itself.
Two slices of whole wheat toast can raise blood sugar more than six teaspoons of table sugar.
That’s not “slow-digesting”, that’s metabolic mayhem.
And those “healthy” whole grains?
They’re full of natural defense chemicals plants make to stop animals from eating them. Those compounds inflame your gut and trigger immune responses, even in people without sensitivities.
You might not feel it at first. But over time, grain damage adds up quietly… blood sugar chaos, joint pain, brain fog, inflammation. Until one day, your body says, “Enough.”
Dr. Anna cut grains completely. Within months her pain vanished, energy soared, and autoimmune markers normalized. We’ve seen the same results for ourselves and many others.
Hers’s a suggestion:
Cut all grains for 30 days. Track your energy, digestion, sleep. Then reintroduce one grain and see how you feel.
Your body doesn’t lie.
Maybe it’s time we question what we’ve been taught about “healthy” food.

I love bread, especially French baguettes with French butter! Yum. Unfortunately, bread = bloat. I must say, I ate a lot in France and it had only a few ingredients and was made daily. I was younger and walked everywhere, so the combo of those things probably made a difference. Today, it’s clear that bread is not good for me. 😢
I totally get that. I loved a hot piece of bread dripping in butter... I understand food on Europe is totally different. It doesn't have all of these nasty addictive we have in the US
