Old habits can sneak back like uninvited guests, can’t they?
Even after 18 years.
I stick to carnivore most days—feeling awesome—until last night, when my food-as-a-crutch buddy showed up.
Ice cream, nuts, raisins—I went wild!
Then this morning, I nabbed more nuts, raisins, and a scone, like I’d forgotten how good “good” feels.
Now I’m bloated, winded, and wiped—yep, that’s a wake-up call!
Hopefully next time, I’ll remind myself of this bloated mess, then sip water and take a quick walk before I snack.

Maybe we need a support group. LOL. I tried to avoid this situation by having no snacks in the house at all. Next thing you know, I find an old bag of chocolate chips in the cupboard. So I ate handfulls of chocolate chips. And yes they tasted good at the time. I didn't get sick but the pounds actually showed up on the scale about 2 days later. So good advice. Next time a glass of water and a quick walk even if it is night time and raining
