Tomorrow’s the Test. Are You Ready?
Thanksgiving. The day everyone uses as an excuse to quit.
“It’s just one day.” “I’ll start again Monday.” “You can’t avoid it.”
Yes you can.
Tomorrow isn’t about deprivation. It’s about decision.
I reversed my diabetes at 55 during the holidays. Thanksgiving included.
Know what I did? I planned ahead.
I decided what I’d eat before I walked in the door. Turkey. Vegetables. Real food my body could use.
I skipped what would make me sick. The rolls. The stuffing. The pie.
Not because I’m special. Because I decided my health mattered more than sixty seconds of taste.
Your family will push. They’ll guilt you. They’ll say you’re no fun.
Let them.
You’re not there for the food. You’re there for the people.
Seventeen years later, I’m still celebrating Thanksgivings. A lot of people I knew back then aren’t.
Tomorrow, you get to choose: temporary taste or long-term health.
Which one are you walking in with?

Thank you so much for this. Just what I needed to hear this morning. I actually modified one side to make it more nutritious.
