They Told You to Drink Eight Glasses of Water a Day, Turns Out They Made It Up
That rule you’ve been following? 8 glasses of water a day… It might not be real.
The recommendation came from a 1945 guideline that wasn’t based on any research. *1
And here’s the part everyone forgot: it stated that most of the water intake could come from food sources.
Someone read half the sentence and turned it into gospel.
Now we’re all walking around with water bottles like we’ll die without them.
A kidney researcher from the University of Pennsylvania says there’s no evidence that drinking eight glasses benefits health in any real way. *2
Your body already knows what it needs. It’s called thirst.
Coffee counts. Tea counts. Even a baked potato is 75 percent water.
But the bottled water industry makes billions convincing you that you’re always one glass away from dehydration.
Your great-grandparents didn’t carry water bottles everywhere. They drank when they were thirsty. They survived just fine.
Listen to your body. Not the marketing.
Are you actually thirsty, or just obedient?
If this hit home, share it, like it, and leave a comment so more people find it.
Until I talk to you again move well, stay healthy, be happy and live with passion.
Have an amazing day!
