Saturday Morning Reset: Start Where Your Feet Are
Happy Saturday... Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
You woke up. That is a win.
Before the to-do list sneaks in with its bossy voice, take one quiet breath with me.
In through the nose.
Slow out through the mouth.
Feel your shoulders drop.
Good.
Peggy looked at me this morning and said, “Coffee first or movement first?”
I said, “Yes.”
She laughed. Then we both stood up and rolled our ankles.
Tiny moves.
Big payoff.
Here is the truth.
You do not need a perfect plan.
You need a first step.
One small choice in the right direction can shift your whole day.
It is like turning a ship with a fingertip.
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
That little line has saved many Saturdays around here.
You want energy? Move a little.
You want a calm mind? Breathe a little.
You want less pain? Gently wake up your body.
The big magic is hidden in small, kind choices. Over and over.
Talk to yourself like you would to a best friend.
“I am not behind. I am simply beginning.”
So here is your tiny Saturday ritual:
Stand tall, smile, and take ten slow breaths.
Step outside if you can.
Face the sun.
While you breathe, do a simple reach to the sky, then a soft fold to the floor.
No force.
Just ease.
Let the stiffness melt like ice in warm water.
That is your Daily Movement Revolution in two minutes.
You are not chasing youth.
You are building today.
Strong. Simple. Joyful.
Let’s keep going.
Today, do this: set a timer for two minutes, breathe slow, reach up, fold down, repeat twice, then drink a big glass of water. If you feel better, do it again this afternoon.
That is how we stack wins.
