Peggy never had a Barbie when she was growing up.
Now she has two.
One in each of our RiversZen studios.
They’re not your ordinary Barbies, either. They’re the poseable kind, with joints that allow you to put them into all sorts of positions.
And believe me, we’ve tested that claim.
Somewhere along the way, Peggy started putting Barbie into different poses around the studio.
Then the students got involved.
And that’s when things got interesting.
We’ve come into the studio in the morning and found Barbie hanging upside down from the camera.
She’s done headstands in the windows.
She’s been here, there, and everywhere, twisted into positions that would probably make a yoga instructor jealous.
And we never quite know where we’re going to find her next.
The funny thing is, nobody is in charge of Barbie.
Peggy loves posing her, but the students have pretty much taken ownership of the whole business. Someone moves her, someone else comes along and gets another idea, and the next thing you know, Barbie’s hanging upside down somewhere.
It’s happening in both studios.
And it’s been going on for years.
I have to tell you, it’s actually unbelievable what these people can do with that Barbie.
Peggy went through her childhood without one.
Now she’s got two, and apparently an entire community of adults who can’t keep their hands off them.
