Meat Is Too Expensive? But You Just DoorDashed Bubble Tea...
We’ll drop cash on caffeine, cartoons, and cocktails, but not a ribeye?
Let’s take a quick look at where the average American’s money actually goes:
94% of us own smartphones
72% subscribe to Netflix
70% order takeout regularly
48% enjoy Starbucks
25% own $200 Nikes
Over 60% drink alcohol
Nearly 25% binge drink monthly
And let’s not forget the $6 oat milk lattes
But you say red meat and eating whole foods is too expensive?
Really?
Red meat is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet.
It fuels muscle, brain health, hormones, and energy.
It fills you up.
It supports a strong, healthy, capable body.
And yet it’s the steak that gets cut from the budget.
Not the cocktails.
Not the takeout.
Not the bingeable streaming services.
Seems a little backwards, doesn’t it?
You don’t have to eat a tomahawk ribeye every night. But if you’re reaching for protein powder while sipping a $7 coffee, maybe it’s time to rethink what’s actually “too expensive.”

Try this today:
Skip one drive-thru stop, fancy drink, or impulse buy.
Buy a pound of ground beef or steak instead.
Cook it. Enjoy it.
Notice how your body responds when you feed it real food.
You’re not just saving money.
You’re investing in you.
Now that’s what I call a good deal.
