So the other day, a little birdie dropped some gossip into our ears.
Apparently, someone said they wouldn’t come to RiversZen classes because, and I quote, “It’s just a bunch of old people.”
Well… guilty as charged! Most of us are a bunch of old people. We’re in our 60s. Our 70s. Heck, we’ve got a few folks in their 80s moving better than people half their age.
But here’s the kicker, if you think that means we’re just sitting around knitting and comparing pillboxes, you might want to come see what “old people” can actually do.
Spoiler alert: We stretch deeper, move freer, breathe easier, and smile bigger than most of the 30-somethings we meet.
Now don’t worry. If you show up and can’t quite keep up, we won’t shame you. We’ll just pat you on the back, hand you a strap, and say, “Welcome to the club, kid. Let’s get to work.”
You see, in many cultures around the world, elders are honored. The community gathers around them to soak up the wisdom that only years, and a few hard knocks can bring.
At RiversZen, we take that to heart. We’ve lived. We’ve learned. We’ve limped. And we’ve healed.

We’re sharing every last bit of that gold with anyone ready to listen, laugh, and move.
