I love this message. When I first started classes at Riverszen, I had to sit on my bed to put on my pants and socks. In a couple years I was able to do it standing if I had a wall nearby to catch my wobbles. 5 years later I can stand in the middle of the room and dress (but I’m not Peggy, so I still sit to put on and tie up my tennis shoes). I never made the connection to balance in life, but it’s true. I was running an event last night and things did not go as planned at one point. One of the other organizers got all bent out of shape. The other woman and I shrugged, figured out an alternative, moved on, and it all worked out. Balance.

Linda, I absolutely love this. From needing to sit on the bed to get dressed to standing in the middle of the room five years later... that’s the kind of progress that really matters to me.

And then you took the idea of balance somewhere I hadn’t even taken it. Things went sideways, you adjusted, and life went on. Balance indeed.

Although I agree, we probably shouldn’t use Peggy as the standard for putting on tennis shoes. 😂

Thank you for sharing this. You made my day.
