A Peaceful Sunday Reset
Think of your body as a rechargeable battery. If you never plug it in you'll run out of power
Sundays carry a different rhythm, don’t they?
The world seems to take a deep breath.
The rush slows down.
The clock ticks a little softer.
It’s easy to fill this day with chores, catch-up projects, or endless scrolling.
But what if you gave yourself permission to do less?
To let Sunday be your recharge station, not just another box to check?
Think of your body as a battery.
If you never pause to plug in, you’ll run flat.
That’s why a peaceful Sunday matters.
A gentle walk, a little stretch, some quiet breathwork… these aren’t luxuries.
They’re fuel for your week ahead.
Peggy and I often say, “Movement doesn’t always mean sweat.”
Sometimes it’s a slow stretch with your coffee mug still in hand.
Sometimes it’s simply sitting in stillness long enough to hear your own heartbeat.
So today, give yourself a pocket of peace.
Two minutes or twenty, whatever you’ve got.
Breathe deeply.
Stretch slowly.
Let your shoulders melt away from your ears.
That’s your Sunday gift to yourself.
Because a calm Sunday sets the stage for a strong, happy week.
